She couldn't wait to meet everyone, and joined us at 36 weeks (4 weeks early). Technically, she is a "preemie" but still weighed in at a healthy 6 lbs. 15 oz. The doc said that had she had decided to extend her stay in the womb, she may have even reached almost 9 lbs!!! (something I'd rather not think about out right now...). Anyway, she is doing well. We found out yesterday afternoon and couldn't be happier. Baby Pratt is doing very well. She is healthy and loves to keep mom on her toes with the ever-present kicks, punches and somersaults. She is a sassy little thing, but she is still shy about letting daddy feel her acrobatics. Everytime I grab for Chris' hand...she stops kicking. Even during yesterday's ultrasound she kept the techs guessing where she'd moved to. Chris thinks we're in for trouble! Of course I can't be totally sure it wasn't gas...BUT...the little kick happened twice. Nothing exciting to report, all is well. My next ultrasound is in about 4 weeks- the "anatomy screen" to find out if it's a boy or a girl.
